Husband and wife, Kiren and Kelli Mainwaring have been the new owners since July 2007. In that time, they have been revitalising the iconic restaurant. The intimate and exclusive dining room has minimal seating which enables our exceptional team to deliver the highest quality of service, wine and gastronomic indulgence. Emphasis and guarantees are on sourcing the freshest, seasonal and most sought after ingredients locally and from around the world.
Dear Friends has won numerous awards over the years, including the most recent, 2008 Gold Plate Award for Licensed Dining City/Metro. The restaurant was also named finalist for Best Restaurant 2008 in the Australian Hotels Association awards.
